Helped a client buy and relocate to Southern Utah
I had a client reach out the beginning of this year to sell their home I helped them build a few years back. They also wanted to build a new home in Southern Utah. They expressed their deep desire of not moving more than once and therefore needing the timelines to coincide. I was able to make this happen for them. Through out the entire 9 months I was entirely by their side assuring they received the best possible care. I helped facilitate the research in to solar panels, set them up with an awesome lender that was a full point lower than others, and also negotiated inspection related issues, helped them sell some personal items from their current home to get them extra money in their pocket, coordinated singing and set up a courtesy closer to come to their home, to name a few of the items 🙂
Why is now the best time to buy a home?
Homeownership in my opinion is the best investment you will ever make. So why not start NOW? I am so grateful I started when I was 21 as homeowner. I have watched countless clients over the years (16 to be exact, but who is counting 😉 make incredible equity while owning their homes, When we go to sell they are blown away that had the ability to live there and make money the entire time. Talk about a great investment!

Are Millennials finally leaving home???
Based on a report released by The Demand Institute, Millennials and Their Homes: Still Seeking the American Dream:
In the next five years, 8.3 million new millennial (Gen Y) households will form. It is predicted that millennials will spend $1.6 trillion on home purchases and $600 billion on rent.
The generation is optimistic: 79% expect their financial situation to improve and 74% expect to move within the next five years.
Gen Y wants to own. Similar to other survey findings, 75% believe home ownership is an important long-term goal and 73% believe ownership is an excellent investment. 24% already own their home and an additional 60% plan to buy a home in the future.
Looking forward: when they move, they will want more space and they will move to the suburbs to start families.
88% own a car, and they are open to moving locations where grocery stores, restaurants, and retail is within a short drive vs walking distance.
44% do think it would be difficult to qualify for a mortgage, and 69% would consider lease-to-own approaches to home buying.
The data is based on a survey of more than 1,000 millennial households (ages 18 to 29).
